STEM Talks: Perspectives, Narratives, and Community Conversation

For the last two years, in follow up to the Transition STEM Wounded Warriors Think Tank, KC-BANCS (Building an Alliance for New Careers in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) has hosted an annual STEM Talks event focusing on career readiness for the STEM fields.

Our shared purpose for these events - which feature a full agenda of knowledgeable speakers, community conversation about the issues, and opportunities for inspiration - is to produce a collective response to the issues faced by students with disabilities and student veterans pursuing STEM education and ultimately STEM careers.

The results are a series of materials pulling together participant insights and recommendations for addressing the issues and are archived below.
